Today was like a special day for shelters or something, so we went to check it out and ended up getting a cat! She’s a year old and very friendly, she actually likes me unlike every other animal on Earth. I wanted a dog but after spending time with her, I realized that I like cats too. This is the first of many Jag posts to come!

*I decided on Tacoma, my mom likes it but my dad and sister are questionable on it. Any other name ideas? I want something car related lol

**We all have names that start with A in our family, except my mom. Hers starts with D and she wanted a D name for her, so I pitched Daytona and she loved it. Everyone else agreed it was good, so now it’s official! Say hello to Daytona, everyone.

****Parents woke up, decided Daytona was meh. Delta is her name now, though I suggested that yesterday and they didn’t like it? Expect her name to change again by tomorrow lol

*****Her name is now Missy. I hate my life

Congrats - cute kitty, (big ears - all the better to hear you with!) G rowing up we had a neighbor down the street that had this little mutt dog that was super smart and it’s name was Tacoma, “taco” for short, (though not really after the food, just short for Tacoma.)

She’s a sweetheart! I love dogs too, but we have a cat and as much as I love pups, I’d say I am more of a cat person. :)

I still can’t think about adding another mammal to my life, but between this and my friend’s new kitty, I have serious new-kitty envy. And my neighbors with the dog who’s my best friend are moving this week, and I’m losing him (and them) too.

I don’t trust people who say they’re dog- or cat-people. If you’re not animal-people, you’re not really people. When they fit into your life, and you can give them a good home, awesome companionship, and endless love, then they’re right for you.
